pp12 Sela Stool

This three-legged Sela stool is designed by Brazilian artist Ricardo Graham Ferreira.

Awarded for his use of alternative wood types from Brazil in 2015, Sela has so far been hand-carved by Ricardo in his workshop near Rio de Janeiro using tropical hardwood.

The new partnership with Ferreira and PP Møbler allows Sela to reach a new audience, made in variations of woods native to the Nordic forests. 

The stools are made in oak, ash, cherry or beech and the wave profile of the shape means that the craftsmen can bring out the character of the pattern of the grain in each block of timber.
